DCA scanner:	Replacement board installed; old bug disappeared - JBR.

9-track tapes:	Spare parts list exists at last.  Time to buy - JBR.

Foonly channel:	Needs new microcode - JBR.

Ampex Discs:	New drive delivered from LLL; worked eventually.
		Drive G down; will try replacing servo head - JBR.
		Another drive ordered on DEK money - LES.

9600 baud link:	Works, though it caused substantial system problems for awhile.

Datamedias:	Will buy at least 5 Model 3025's.  ME is working on a keyboard
		design that is as close as possible to our lab keyboards - LES.

KL10:		Cooling ECO installed - JBR.

TIP:		Split-speed lines still have a bug in large output bursts.

UDS modems:	Two more modems should be supplied by LLL, one from NSF funds - LES.

ARM-10L memory:	1/8 unusable, awaiting TED - JBR.

MG10 memory:	1/2 down, awaiting TED - JBR.

KA10:		Memory system bug makes it drop dead frequently - JBR.

PDP-6:		Picking bit in ACs - TVR.

			    SYSTEM PROGRAMS

WAITS:		Uptime for August was 89%, with trouble from overtemperature
		shutdowns, 9600 baud line from LLL, and power failure.
		Free storage bug patched.
		PUMPKIN command (deferred file restore) should work soon - BH.
		ACCESS command now lets you access protected file areas if you
		know the password - MRC.

TEX:		Up. Manual published - DEK.

UNIX/1145:	John Reiser attempting to get us a free copy - JBR.

E:		Can now edit a file (e.g. mail file) without updating directory.
